Twenty-three year old, recent college graduate with a degree in Internet Journalism sets out to change the face of his city in a cardigan, a pair of oxfords, a pair of colored, skinny fit khakis and a Canon Rebel by his side.

Silas Vassar, III is considered a jack of all trades- a modern day Renaissance man, if you will. With journalistic credentials from the University of Memphis he is ready to take the newsroom by storm. A self-taught photographer and graphic designer, he has the skills to produce a scene with nothing but a camera and an Adobe program. Turning a hobby into a job, he has styled models, designers, singers and more.

This blog is no less than A Day Late and a Dollar Short. A presence on the social blogosphere since 2007, Vassar has cultivated a reputation for producing valuable information unlike any other site of its kind. It’s safe to say that he’s been down this road and back again but his heart is still as true as ever. Keeping with the tradition there will be a new look and organization to this site. Combining all aspects of journalism, fashion, and photography the site will produce daily lookbooks (both personal and not), weekly interviews, industry information, exclusive downloads and giveaways and much, much more.
